Black Friday is cheap jerseys upon us again, friends, and for those souls brave enough to leave the house and venture out into the wilderness, where that sweet elderly lady who looks like your grandmother could turn into a ferocious lioness at any time, there are plenty of great deals to be had! But there are also plenty of deals online, too.
So if Netflix’s Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, which hit the streaming service this morning, isn’t quite your speed, here are 11 TV box sets and DVDs you should buy this holiday season.
Amazon is offering a special TV promotion this weekend. Dedicated TV fans can purchase any three featured TV show titles for a total price of $29.99. You should make sure both seasons of Bryan Fuller’s whimsical Pushing Daisies is on your list. The saturated, quirky world of Ned the Pie Maker is a must for TV fans.
2. Psych, Complete Series, DVD (Target)
Until recently, all eight seasons of Psych, USA’s hour long comedy about a fake psychic detective, was available to stream on Netflix. Although the complete series isn’t exactly cheap Target is selling the complete series box set for $140.00 it’s a must have for Psych fans everywhere.

Aw jeez! The first season of Fargo, Noah Hawley’s well written and tremendously acted adaptation of the Coen Brothers masterpiece, is currently available for purchase at Best Buy for just $6.99. Best Buy also has an entire selection of TV shows on DVDs that are similarly priced, so now is the perfect time to do some damage to that holiday shopping list.

4. Friday Night Lights, Complete Series, DVD (Amazon)
Looking for the perfect gift for a loved one this holiday season? Look no further than the complete series box set of the critically acclaimed drama Friday Night Lights. From family to football, the show has it all. In fact, you can probably just buy everyone on your list their own copy of the series and call it a day. Good news: Various seasons of the Zachary Levi action comedy are available on Blu Ray and DVD via Amazon’s aforementioned promotion. Get to it! Don’t make us send Casey after you.

No TV lover’s shelf is complete without Aaron Sorkin’s romanticized version of Washington. Amazon is selling the complete series of The West Wing for less than $65. That’s a steal! So after eating all the finest muffins and bagels in all the land, open your wallet for seven seasons of politics that won’t make you want to stick your head in the deep fryer.

Nothing says happy holidays like the stressful world of high school chemistry teacher turned meth kingpin Walter White and his former student turned partner Jesse Pinkman. If for some reason you still haven’t seen or know someone who hasn’t seen the Emmy winning Breaking Bad, now is the perfect time to get acquainted. Amazon is currently selling the complete series for $50.
9. iZombie, Season 2, DVD (Walmart)
Walmart has a number of amazing TV titles available for less than $10. Of course, the first two seasons of Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero Wright’s iZombie are currently streaming on Netflix for your enjoyment, but when the real zombie apocalypse inevitably comes, you know your internet connection is going to be the first thing to go.

The second season of USA’s hacker drama Mr. Robot, starring Emmy Award winner Rami Malek, is a must have and currently available for pre order at Walmart. Buy it now for delivery in early January.
